IIT Palakkad B.Tech/M.tech Programs Details, Cutoff and Placement News

Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad (IIT Palakkad or IIT-PKD) is a public autonomous engineering and research nstitute located in Palakkad, Kerala. It is one of the five new IITs proposed in the 2014 Union budget of India. The campus was inaugurated on 3 August 2015 at the temporary campus site located inside the Ahalia Integrated Campus, Palakkad. In February 2019, academic activities commenced in the transit campus in Kanjikkode. The institute has nearly 60 faculty, 600 students, and 50 non-teaching staffs.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

1. B.Tech admission is based on the score in JEE Advanced followed by National Level counselling.
2. The selection of the candidates for M.S. is done through Written Test Interview and GATE score.
3. Candidates must have BE/ B.Tech or Master's degree in Science or AMIE (both Par A and Part B) examinations with a good academic record to pursue M.S.
