POWERGRID is an Indian state-owned Maharatna company and engaged mainly in Transmission of Power. POWERGRID transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network. Its former subsidiary company, Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) handles power management for National Grid and all state transmission utilities. POWERGRID also operates a telecom business under the name POWERTEL. Apart from through GATE Cutoff Marks, HPCL also conduct Direct Exam for Recruitment in HPCL.

Eligibility Criteria(All information):

B.E. / B.tech with 65% Marks (General Category / OBC ) & Passing Marks (SC/ ST / Pwd)

Age Limit- 28 years (General Category) Age relaxation for reserved category as per govt. regulation.

GATE exam Code (For recruitment in POWERGRID through GATE cutoff marks: Electrical (EE), Electronics(EC), Civil(CE), Computer Science(CS)

Selection Procedure:

GAIL Applicattion- Month of January.

1. GATE Score (cutoff marks) followed GD and Personal Interview.
2. Direct exam for recruitment in POWERGRID Off campus drive / Give notification as per requirements.
